2022 Kia Telluride Trim Levels

If you’re looking to raise the bar on your Streetsboro commute with a new, stylish, full-size SUV, the Telluride from Kia should be at the top of your shopping list. The Telluride brings a modern exterior design and the comfort and convenience features needed to please the whole family. Plus, Telluride can handle wintry weather and the road less traveled.

Kia offers the Telluride in four trims, the LX, S, EX, and SX, plus a special Nightfall edition. As you might expect, the features build as you move up trim levels. So to help you decide which model works best for you, we’ve broken the Telluride models down.

Standard Telluride Features

Every Telluride features the same 3.8-liter Lambda V-6 engine paired with an electronically-controlled eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain produces 291 horsepower, 262 pound-feet of torque, and tows up to 5,000 pounds.

In addition, every model includes a suite of driver-assist systems. These systems monitor your Telluride and alert you to potential hazards. In some cases, the systems will engage emergency braking or steering correction to help you avoid a possible accident.

Kia uses the same infotainment system in all models. It includes a 10.25-inch touch screen powered by Kia Connect, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth technology. You also get six USB jacks, three 12-volt power outlets, and a six-speaker audio system.

Telluride LX

The LX trim comes equipped with Kia’s Cabin Talk and Quiet Mode systems, enabling you to communicate with the rear passengers through the audio speakers and shut down the rear speakers to let your passengers rest.

The LX seats eight people in the durable and beautiful Syntex synthetic upholstery. The second-and third-row seats split-fold in a 60/40 pattern for multiple cargo configurations. One-touch tilt, slide, and fold make entry and storage simple. Your leather-wrapped steering wheel features all your audio and cruise controls. The dual-zone automatic climate control system features rear controls for passengers.

Telluride S

The second trim adds to the LX features with a wireless phone charger. The front driver’s chair features an eight-way power-adjusting seat with two-way lumbar support, and the two front seats heat for additional comfort. Your seating total drops to seven people with the standard second-row captain’s chairs. You also get a leather-wrapped shift knob with this trim.

The EX trim builds upon the features of the S model with premium touches such as leather upholstery, wood grain accents, and an eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. The front seats come standard with heat and ventilation and an option for a heated steering wheel.

Kia’s top-tier SX trim adds premium touches like a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and second-row captain’s chairs. You have the option for Nappa leather upholstery. You also get a larger 7-inch TFT supervision cluster, a 64-color interior ambient lighting system, and an optional head-up display.

You can opt for the Nightfall special edition, only available on the EX and SX models. You’ll enjoy all the features of these two trims.
